Rob leads THRSXTY’s Reputation division, working to protect and promote the reputations of clients across the Exposure Group of agencies.
Rob has 16 years’ media experience in PR and journalism, and has held senior roles at Hill & Knowlton and Good Relations, where he ran the Issues and Crisis team. He has advised companies on issues such as NGO attacks, redundancies, product recalls, corporate disputes, financial impropriety and deaths in service. In addition to his crisis management experience, he has also led a number of corporate accounts and worked extensively to build the reputations of businesses and their senior executives in the media.
Rob has provided senior counsel to brands including adidas, P&G, Subway, HSBC, Weetabix, the All England Lawn Tennis Club, LG Electronics, Nationwide, Twinings and Telegraph Media Group. He is also an experienced media trainer and has developed and run programmes for companies such as Shell, Intel, Paddy Power, Bombay Sapphire and Visa.
Rob’s media knowledge comes from his background as an award-winning journalist. He has written for almost every national newspaper in the UK, including The Times, The Daily Telegraph, Daily Mail, The Sun and Daily Mirror – and has also worked for Sky television.
