Building a strong relationship with influential on-trade venues is a key objective for Suntory Whisky.
Inspired by Sakura (cherry blossom season) and Hanami (the appreciation of the transient beauty of flowers), we partnered with ROKA Charlotte Street to create a month-long cherry blossom installation for Suntory.
This fully immersive installation was complemented by a Sakura inspired Suntory menu, which was replicated across all ROKA venues for maximum brand awareness and trial. The cocktails were all inspired by and made with Hibiki Japanese Harmony, the key product focus for the year for Suntory.
Our launch event saw influential media, trade and consumers treated to an evening of great cocktails, canapes and music, and helped deliver over 45 pieces of quality media coverage (excluding social media).
The installation was so successful it was increased from one month to two months, and delivered an increase in bottle sales by 1000% for Suntory at ROKA.
